Calluna vulgaris 'Alicia'AGM

Masses of white buds, (f. diplocalyx) which fail to open, resulting in a long flowering period, Aug-Dec. It has bright green foliage and a compact upright habit. It has larger buds, flowers longer and has a less floppy habit than 'Melanie'. Deliberate cross between 'Marleen' and 'Long White' produced by Kurt Kramer. Progeny: 'Dapiali'; 'Dark Alicia'; 'Lucie'; 'Pink Alicia'. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
