Calluna vulgaris 'H. E. Beale'

Long tapering racemes of double shell pink (H16) flowers, Aug-Nov, with dark green foliage turning a drab green brown in winter. Found in the New Forest, Hampshire, England this deservedly popular cultivar is now over 70 years old and is named after the director of the then famous Maxwell & Beale nursery.
