Crimson (H13) flowers, Nov-Apr, with mid-green foliage. Yet another of the specially selected clones from the breeding work done by Kurt Kramer using 'Myretoun Ruby' as one of the parents, this one being one of the earliest carneas to flower. Low spreading habit. The name means winter delight. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Large flowers, Feb-Apr, open pink (H8) darkening to lilac pink (H11) with age. Bright gold foliage and a spreading habit. One of the hardier foliage cultivars and should be grown more widely. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Shell pink (H16) flowers, Feb-Apr, with mid-green foliage. Vigorous spreading habit. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Masses of white flowers, Feb-May, with bright green foliage. This plant was a deliberate cross between 'Springwood White' and 'Snow Queen' having the advantages of both. It flowers a little later than 'Isabell' and 'Ice Princess'. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
The flowers open lilac pink (H11) and darken to magenta (H14), Feb-May, deepening with age with red brown foliage. A new foliage colour amongst the carneas again selected from the vast breeding programme of Kurt Kramer using 'Myretoun Ruby' as one of the parents. The name is derived from attractive display of the buds against a winter sun. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Pale shell pink flowers turning dark purple with age, Jan-Mar, with mid-green foliage. Good spreading habit. Originally thought to be a sport from 'Adrienne Duncan' found by D. Wilson, British Columbia, Canada but he is not so sure now. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 26-30cm.
