The flowers open lilac pink (H11) and darken to magenta (H14), Feb-May, deepening with age with red brown foliage. A new foliage colour amongst the carneas again selected from the vast breeding programme of Kurt Kramer using 'Myretoun Ruby' as one of the parents. The name is derived from attractive display of the buds against a winter sun. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
